The Ghana Gas Company has donated GH100, 000 to Ghana Premier League club Karela United.
The donation by the national gas company forms part of their social and corporate responsibility.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Karela United Awulae Angama Tuu Agyane II received the cheque of GH100, 000 on behalf of the club with Ghana Gas’ Director of Operations, Robert Lartey making the presentation.
The donation will be used to shore up the club’s budget especially in these times of no official football activities.
Karela qualified for the first time to compete in the Ghanaian top flight this season and finished the first half of the campaign in the 3rd position.
