General Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has confirmed that, Kotoko will engage their neighbors Ashantigold Sporting Club in a friendly on the 9th and 16th of September.

George Amoako confirmed in an interview with Oyerapa FM that after they had played the return leg of their clash against Accra Hearts of Oak, they will play another two legged friendly against Ashantigold SC.

“After the two friendlies against Hearts of Oak, plans are advanced for regional rivals Asante Kotoko and Ashgold to also play since there is no official football on going”

Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Accra Hearts of Oak by 2-0 at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the first leg of their Super Clash, Sogne Yacouba scored both goals.
