Head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Paa Kwasi Fabin has expressed his delight after his side’s comfortable win over arch rivals Hearts of Oak in the first leg of the Clash of the titans.

Sogne Yacouba brace made the difference for Kumasi Asante Kotoko as they beat Accra Hearts of Oak by 2-0. Speaking to the media after the game, Paa Kwasi Fabin lauded the performance of his boys and also hints about signing two players to strengthen the squad.

“We played very well; I thought we had a very good game. We put a lot of pressure on them. I told my players to play with confidence and they did exactly so. We were better than them”

When asked what has changed in his team compare to the time during the league was in session, Paa Kwasi answered.

“We have had a lot of time to work together .The boys are gradually getting there, my team is a work in Progress, and hopefully we can add two more players to strengthen the squad”

The second leg will come off on Sunday 2nd September at the Baba Yara stadium
