Ghana Black star’s captain Asamoah Gyan has rubbished report in the media that he will retire from football after the 2019 AFCON.
Asamoah Gyan who is currently plying his trade for Turkish side Kayserispor reacted to a story which claimed he is set to retire from football after AFCON 2019.
The Captain took to his official Twitter account to rubbish the story.
“You people are not even credible again. What kind nonsense is this? You people should get your information right. I won’t tolerate this nonsense from you anymore.”
The former Liberty professionals Striker also clarified that retiring from National team is different from retiring from Football.
“You can also read and get back to me wai. There is difference between retiring from football and retiring from National team. So read before u ask questions”
Asamoah Gyan is not in the latest list of players invited to feature in the African Cup qualifiers against Kenya on 9 September.
