The Secretary of the Ghana Coaches Association Mr. John Kwame Quayson says he will give the government of Ghana a success score of 80/100 in all its engagement with FIFA over the current state of the country’s football.
Government of Ghana has been negotiating and consulting with FIFA since June 22 following the Anas video and according to lawyer Quayson government has demonstrated a high degree of competence having succeeded in avoiding a FIFA ban despite interfering with affairs of the GFA.
“I will score government 80% all these while as their success rate. Government has really done well” he said on Metro FM this morning.
“The government has been able to get FIFA on its side without getting a ban and that is great and it should be pointed out that the government has got what it wanted already. That is to kick Nyantakyi out and the Executive committee and all these have been achieved per this outcome of Thursday meeting.” Mr. Quayson explained.
“There are so many ways of killing a cat. What matters it the end not the means. I have said the court case to dissolve the GFA was not necessary and clearly this outcome means government would have to discontinue it since the normalisation committee will be appointed now to replace the Executive committee.”he added.
