Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila has returned to full scale training with Red Star Belgrade following an injury scare over the weekend.
The 25-year-old hobbled off in Red Stars’ 3-0 trouncing of Subotica on Sunday.
Sumaila was replaced in the second half after feeling a twitch in his left hamstring.
He underwent a medical checkup the day after to ascertain the severity of the knock.
But doctors gave him a clean bill of health and told him he could rejoin his teammates in training.
The Ghana international after taking a day off has indeed returned to full scale training to allay any injury fears.
Sumaila joined Red Star on loan from Al Qadsia last month and is already growing into being a key member of the Serbian giants.
