Government has empowered Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo to lead a delegation to Zurich to meet with FIFA over its threat of banning Ghana.
The delegation which also includes Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah, Deputy Attorney General Godfred Dame and Deputy Chief of Staff Samuel Abu Jinapor will be flying out to Zurich on Wednesday night.
A meeting with high ranking officials of FIFA is expected to take place on Thursday.
The government delegation aims at getting FIFA to rescind their ultimatum of having Ghana banned by August 27.
FIFA wrote to the state through the Liaison Team to issue the ultimatum of a ban of government refuses to withdraw its lawsuit seeking to dissolve the Ghana FA.
But government responded by requesting to meet with FIFA in its latest bid to avoid the ban.
