Dreams FC’s general captain Charles Osei Lucio has undergone successful surgery to fix a knee problem, the club has announced.
The defender underwent the operation in Egypt and has already begun rehabilitation.
Lucio has not tasted first team action for almost two years now.
The club in a statement says they hope to have the defender back soon having undergone the surgery.
“Dreams Football Club wishes to announce to all of its stakeholders that General Captain Charles Osei Lucio has successfully undergone surgery to repair his injured knee,” the statement read.
“Lucio has been battling an ACL injury which has kept him out of first team football for over a year now.
“The defender traveled to Egypt last month to undergo the surgery which doctors consider a success.
“We at this point want to thank the team of doctors that performed the operation and also to wish our General Captain a speedy recovery.
“We hope to see him return to first team duties soon.”
