Ghana striker John Antwi has opened his account for Makkasa SC by scoring the winning goal in their 2-1 triumph over Arab Contractors on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old missed the opening day defeat to Smouha last week but returned with a bang to score what eventually was the winning goal at the Arab Contractors’ Stadium.
Antwi struck in the 67th minute to hand Makkasa the lead after Rajab Omran had equalized for the visitors three minutes earlier.
The former Al Ahly man has proved his worth to the side once more again having played out the final part of last season on loan for Makkasa.
He only signed a three-year contract with the side earlier this year to make his loan move permanent.
