Black Queens midfielder, Priscilla Okyere enjoyed the entire 90-minutes as Spartak Subotica tipped off the 2018-19 UEFA Women’s Champions League campaign with a 1:0 win against Israeli champions Kiryat Gat.
Pleuler Clark Murphy of USA produced the only goal of the game with 36 minutes showing on the clock to secure the slim victory for the Blue Doves.
Subotica will be aiming to make it out of the group stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time, but will have to clear games against Breznica Pljevlja of Montenegro and FC Basel of Switzerland on August 10 and 13 and hope for better results.
