Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori conceded two goals in front of his home fans at the Harry Gwala stadium on Sunday as impressive Golden Arrows left with all three points on opening day of the South Africa Premier League  2018/19 season.

The visitors produced a masterclass to defeat Maritzburg United on their own turf thanks to two second half goals from Knox Mutizwa and Lerato Lamola.

The Black Stars number one had little to do to stop both goals the first of which came from a wonderful acrobatic kick by Mutizwa before Lamola sealed the win following a counter attack.

Ofori was nominated for the best goalkeeper award in the ABSA PL last season but failed to win the ultimate and would be looking forward to do better this season.
