Striker Richard Danso is elated to have led the Ghan U20 charge in their 3-1 win over Benin in the Africa Cup qualifier on Saturday.
The WAFA star scored twice as the Black Satellites rallied from behind to secure the very important win in the first leg of the ultimate qualifiers.
Ghana however labored to get the win having started the second half a goal down and not playing too well at the time.
And Danso who scored the equalizing and final goal for Ghana is proud to have been the one to deliver the goals when it mattered most.
“I am very happy to have scored against Benin,” he told FootballMadeInGhana.com.
“We conceded in the first half and things were not going on well for us.
“But thankfully the ball came to me at the right time to score and I scored twice.”
Ghana will now have to protect their first leg lead in the return encounter net weekend against Benin in order to qualify for the Africa Cup finals to be staged next year in Niger.
