Ghanaian second division outfit Charity Stars have officially come out that their attacker Eric Ayiah has joined French side AS Monaco.
Ayiah who was the skipper of the Ghana national under 17 team last year has been a subject of interest from various European clubs including FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon but his club have confirmed that he has signed for French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.
“Management of Charity Stars football club can now confirm that their player, Eric Ayiah, captain of the Black Starlets of Ghana who went to the just ended FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament in India has finally signed a Five (5) year contract with AS Monaco after medically proven fit” the club posted on their official website.
The budding forward scored two goals as Ghana reached the second round of the 2017 Under 17 World Cup in India.
