New Mastricht attacker Asumah Abubakar Ankrah has thanked the management, technical staff, players and the fans of his former club Willem II after completing his move to Mastricht FC.
Abubakar spent two seasons at the Tilburg based club before deciding to part ways with the them after they failed to reach an agreement with him on contract renewal.
The Ghanaian born attacker took his official Instagram page to thank everyone at the club and wished the club the best of luck ahead of the season.
” It was a great pleasure to have played for Willem II Tilburg. My gigantic appreciation goes to the technical staffs, teammates and of course not forgetting the love and support of the fantastic fans. I wish the club all the best of success in the coming seasons” he posted.
Asumah Abubakar is still eligible to play for Ghana despite representing Portugal in the 2016 under 20 European championships.
