Black Princesses midfielder, Ernestina Abambila has called for Ghanaians to support the Black Princesses in the yet to start U-20 FIFA World Cup.
The former Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies player pleaded to Ghanaians to rally support behind the team as they seek to make amends for failing to make it out of the group stage in the four previous editions of the tournament.
The Black Princesses are in the same group with host France, New Zealand and Netherlands, but Ernestina Abambila believes with good preparation and maximum support, Ghana can progress to the next round.
“Pray for us in this tournament when we are about to play and give us your supports. We know the Black Princesses have failed to progress from the group stages in four attempts at the World Cup, but we will try all our possible best this time around to progress to the next stage. So I’m pleading with all Ghanaians to have faith and pray for us and we will change the face of Ghana Football” She said in an interview.
Ghana will play their first game against France on August 5, 2018.
