Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to send Ghana international Phil Ofosu-Ayeh on loan as he seeks to get back to his best.
Ofosu-Ayeh spent the whole of last season in the treatment room and could not make even a single appearance as Wolves won the English Championship League.
The German-born Ghanaian is now fully fit but according to the Express and Star tabloid, he and eight others namely Dominic Iorfa, Ethan Ebanks-Landell and Sylvain Deslandes, midfielders Jordan Graham and Connor Ronan, and forwards Michal Zyro, Joe Mason and Paul Gladon – are training separately from both Wolves’ first team and Under-23s at Compton Park.
Some of the nine players will be sent on loan to championship teams whilst others will be given out to teams outside England for them to rediscover their form.
Ofosu-Ayeh joined Wolves last summer in a three-year free transfer deal after leaving German side Eintracht Braunschweig.
