Ghana forward Patrick Twumasi has said an emotional goodbye to the FC Astana fraternity after securing a move to Spanish La Liga side Deportivo Alaves.
Twumasi joined El Gliorioso on a five-year deal over the weekend and he has officially given his heartfelt gratitude message to the fans and management of Astana after five successful years at the Astana Arena.
“It has been an amazing 5 years astana and I tell you I enjoy every bit of the seasons. I would like to say a very big thank you to the President of Astana club. Mr. Sayan Hamitzanov, my coaches and my teammates. To my teammates, it was a pleasure playing with you guys. You are all amazing. To all my fans I want to say I really appreciate you. The Ghanaian was the main man in the attack of Astana as he netted 63 goals and provided 29 assists in 158 appearances for the Kazakhstani champions.
