Bankroller and owner of Proud United, Joojo Duncan has proposed reforms at The Referee Association of Ghana.
In a write up by Joojo Duncan, he proposed that RAG should pay allowance, pay officiating fee per match and do a lot if they want to better officiating on the local scene.
He also asserted that RAG should begin to look for a solid outlook for its members whilst they must set up scheme to help members, and also a provident fund etc.
” RAG must stablish minimum fees per every Class of referees.
Pay travelling allowance and hotel cost and feeding per every assignment.
Officiating fee per match should be lodged in the Referees account within 7 working days after each match.
Also determine on their own the sensitivity level of each match and also notify the local security of the nature if the match and their need for protection aside from the clubs own request.
Set up a monetary support schemes that members may borrow from in times of need. Set up an NHIS scheme for members.
Additional set up or Affiliate with a Medical Center that regularly check the health of its members.
Set up an Employment/Educational support schemes to help advance the personal carrier ambitions of its members.
Set up an Exchange program where members can travel to Foreign Countries for International experiences. Refresher and training Courses for members.
Develope investment portfolios to grow the Associations financial growth. Actively Seek Sponsorship to support its programs. Hold regular seminars and public Education on the activities of the Association.
Establish an acknowledgeable low Tolerance for members who fall foul of acceptable performance levels. These and many more ideas can be advanced to make RAG more professionally constituted. And I would be ready to support them…from JoJo duncan@Proud ” the owner of Proud United wrote.
