President of Bechem United, Kingsley Owusu Achiaw has vowed to quit football should the Government of Ghana put “football people” at the helm of affairs

The Bechem United boss is convinced that it is good for the mess to be cleaned rather than letting the acclaimed “football people” to run affairs now.

“I will quit doing football if government leaves it in the hands of football people” He told Asempa FM.

“It’s better we suffer now and get a better platform for our players”

When asked if he would like the current league to continue, the veteran football administrator mentioned that the league must end without demotion and promotion.

“I suggest we end the league as it is, without demotion or promotion. The Interim Management Committee should be allowed to run football for one full season, from the beginning to the end” He added.
