The first visit of inspection by the CAF team in Ivory Coast, designated host of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations is set to conclude on the last day of the month.
The inspection team led by Samson Adamu (Compétitions Director), assisted by Mr. Mohamed El Shawarby (Manager Competitions) and Mourad Fahmy (Hotels and Accomodation Officer) has been in the West African francophone country since July 23 where they were received by president of Ivory Coast Football Federation Mr. Augustin Sidy Diallo at the headquarters of the Ivorian Football Federation.
During their stay in Ivory Coast, the CAF representatives had on their line-up on-site visits in Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Korhogo, Bouaké and San Pedro in order to evaluate the sports, hotel and hospital infrastructures planned for the organization of the CAN 2021 in Ivory Coast.
They are also set to visit the construction sites of the Ebimpé and the stadium Felix Houphouet-Boigny.
