Ghanaian youth international Emmanuel Eli Keke made the Icelandic Deild League team of the first round after putting up a sterling performance.
The former Dreams FC defender who joined last year has been very instrumental for Olafsvik in the Icelandic Deild League which has earned him a place in the best eleven of the first round
The 21 year old in his debut season ensured that Olafsvik conceded only 9 goals in their 13 games played and also won the best player of the first round.
Eli revealed how surprised he was after being part of the team of the first round.
“Quite frankly, this is a bit of a surprise to me. Our team is all about playing well and making progress. We are all together and the team deserves to get credit, but of course I’m very happy to be chosen the best. I thank my teammates very much” he told the press.
