The Ghana U17 team secured wins in two separate friendly matches played at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence in Prampram on Friday morning.
Edward Fobi of Kumasi-based Sampdoria FC scored the only goal in the first game to hand the Black Starlets a 1-0 win over Gap Soccer Academy.
Coach Karim Zito’s charges turned on the style in their second game to beat Miracle Land FC 2-0.
First half goals from Vision FC’s Salim Yusif Giabo and Adam Saad of Still Believe FC proved enough to give the hosts the well deserved win.
The Black Starlets are in preparations towards their U17 WAFU Zone B African Cup qualifying tournament to be hosted by Niger in September.
Ghana will be looking to build on their record in the African Cup having emerged as runner’s up in the last edition of the tournament held in Gabon.
