Communications Director for Accra Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo has advised that football in the country must return but at the most appropriate time.
All football related activities in the country have being halted after an expose by Anas Aremeyaw Anas captured some officials taking money to influence the outcome of football games.
The Hearts of Oak head of media insists that the game must come back but at the right time.
“At Accra Hearts of Oak, we support zero tolerance for corruption, we all agree that football must come back to Ghana, must it must come back at the most appropriate time, football has to come back better it shouldn’t come with corruption again.” He told the Press.
“It is worth waiting for, because if it is through that means that will bring sanity into the game for us to enjoy the beauty of the game going forward and getting equal playing field and good representation in the future.”
“Anyone who loves football must support it and not call for football today and tomorrow, because the seemingly rot is enough and we must get rid of it.” He concluded.
