Dreams FC winger James Wiafe has started training after nearly six months on the sidelines with injury.
Wiafe did not make an appearance for the team in the first round of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League because of injury but he is now back to full fitness and has started training.
The budding wideman revealed that he is excited to be back and ready to continue from where he left off.
“I feel very glad to be back to the field and playing my football again as I always like to showcase my talent out there to everyone.” he told his club’s official website
“It has been a very difficult period for me with the injury and although the recovery went on smoothly as planned, I sometimes felt frustrated at the fact that I couldn’t be of help to the team during the first half of the season.”
He added: “I just got back so I am not fully fit but I am working extra hard to get to my full fitness so that anytime the league resumes, I will be ready too help the team succeed.”
Wiafe was one of the standout players as Dreams FC won the GHALCA Top Eight tournament in January this year.
