Chief executive officer of Aduana Stars Albert Commey has lashed out on their troublesome striker Derrick Sasraku after the player was sacked from the training ground.
Sasraku who has been in the subject of poor disciplinary records since his arrival at the club was dismissed by the coach after threatening to beat the physical trainer of the club.
Albert Commey who brought the player to the club has hit hard at him and promised a stiffer punishment should he continue his gross misconduct.
“There is every limit which one can contain you, Derrick has a disciplinary issues. We spoken to him, he is not happy with the decision we took , though the punishment was severe, he deserved it . He fought a former player, I warned him personally. You were banned one year after you had issues with referee. I don’t want you to throw your hands no matter what . But when the issue came we realized he threw his hands again.” Commey stated.
The Aduana CEO also rejected claims that he brought the player to the club, that is why the club have failed to deal with him.
“Which leader will bring an indiscipline player to affect his team, do you think an indiscipline situation will help us to get a success? “
“We gave him the punishment of GHC 3,000, then he refused to train. We gave him GHC 500, I called him to my house and told him he has the right to aplogize but he refused . Then he comes to training ground and falsl down and lie that he is injured, meanwhile the doctors will check him and say he is lying”
On whether the club will take a decision to terminate the player’s contract, the Aduana boss emphasized that they are yet to decide.
“We are going to meet and take a decision on him. We will write to Fifa and explain his conduct, he will change and stay and play proper. “
“He keeps on asking clubs to bring 40,000 dollars they will take and let me go, I asked him weather he is worth 40,000 dollars . He cannot dictate for us. If I were to be here when the coach sacked him , the sanction would have been severe” He added.
