Newcastle United have emerged as the frontrunners to sign Ghana international Andre Ayew from Swansea City.
The versatile attacker is keen on leaving South Wales after the relegation of Swansea City and the Magpies seem to have handed him an escape route.
According to a report by English tabloid Chronicle Live, Newcastle are leading the race to sign Andre Ayew though they face stiff opposuition from Turkish trio of Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasary.
New Swansea manager Graham Potter has earlier stated that Andre Ayew is not for sale but with the player eager to leave the Liberty Stadium, he could be made to go if any club are able to pay the £18m the bought him for from West Ham.
His impact since returning to Swansea has been limited, making just 12 top flight outings before they dropped out of the Premier League.
A return to Marseille possibly on loan is also on the cards with the French side set to play Champions League this coming season.
