Ex Ghana defender Anthony Baffoe has completed his work as a Match Co-ordinator at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

The 53-year-old is one of the few Africans selected by the world football governing body to play the role of General Co-ordinator at the ongoing finals in Russia.

Baffoe had played similar role at the 2014 World Cup where his exemplary work saw him take charge of the finals between Germany and Argentina.

His job at the 2018 World Cup however came to an end on Tuesday after overseeing the successful organization of the semi final clash between France and Belgium in St Petersburg.

The CAF Deputy General Secretary will now be heading home to Ghana for holidays before jetting back to his post in Egypt with the continental body .
