Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara has slapped a 20 million Ghana Cedis two lawsuits against Tiger Eye PI and Anas Aremeyaw Anas concerning the latest undercover expose, Number 12.
The documentary which sought to uncover rot in football was screened to the general public last month which has led to the halt of all football activities in the West African country.
Sannie-Daara was captured in the video holding a meeting with the undercover reporter.
The former BBC reporter is accused of receiving bribe through an aide even though the video did not capture him receiving such monies.
Daara has now filed a writ at an Accra High Court on counts of defamation and human rights violation is seeking damages believed to be in the region of $500,000 from Anas and his Tiger Eye company.
This is the second time in a space of a week that such a legal challenge has been brought against the latest undercover work of the award-winning journalist.
Former Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi who was the main feature of the Number 12 expose has filed a similar action.
Suspended Executive Committee members of the Ghana FA who were also caught in the documentary are said to be also lining up to bring similar action against Anas.
