Head of Communications for Dreams FC, Henry Asante Twum has revealed the reason behind Jerome Otchere’s exit from Dreams Football Club just seven months after his appointment by the club.
Jerome Otchere mutually parted ways with Dreams FC and has since raised issues in the media as to why he resigned just seven months with the club.
Henry Asante Twum, the Communications Director of the club has explained what triggered Jerome’s resignation in an exclusive interview with www.footballmadeinghana.com
“The thing is since Jerome Otchere joined Dreams FC, there never came a time where we had problems with him, we have worked with him peacefully and in a cordial manner.”Asante revealed
“Unfortunately, his ill health is not too good for some time now, so I approached him as the head of the department when he came back from abroad, I engaged him and asked him if he can recover and come back to his post on time, he told me the doctors has told him to stay off sitting behind computers for long hours so he needs time to recover, because his spine is affected”.
“So as a brother and a colleague, I told him that indeed he has to take it up so we needed to talk to the owner of the club, which is Kurt Okraku, we needed to take a decision. It is not proper to put pressure on somebody who is sick or not fully fit to be working, because his KPIs and working demands alone won’t make sense for him to work” headded.
