Ghana international Ernest Asante has joined Emirati side Al Jazira FC from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.

The 29-year-old winger signed a two-year deal for the Abu Dhabi club on Thursday after a successful career in Scandinavia.

Asante scored goals for fun in Norway and Denmark and he is arguably the most successful Ghanaian player ever in Scandinavia.

The pacey winger is expected to help the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium club as they seek to improve upon their 7th position in the coming season.

He was part of the Ghana National Under 17 team in 2005 and was two years ago voted as the second most fastest player on earth.
