Karela United Football Club were adjudged the best Nzema club of the Year 2018.

The award which was organized by Deq Change at the Essiama Nursing training Auditorium, over the weekend saw Karela United beating competition from their bitterest rivals, Nzema Kotoko and five other Division Two clubs from Nzema; Holy Stars, Tanoakuba, Nazarians and Junior Nef to the award.

Receiving the award for the club were the Club’s Secretary Koame Mieza ,the Public Relations officer, Samuel Enyan and team doctor, Nicholas Danquah .

Karela United Football Club had a successful first round in their debut Ghana Premier League season which has seen them beat both Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Cosby Awuah Memorial Park at Aiyinase.
