Ghana youth international Emmanuel Lomotey has secured Spanish second-tier promotion with UD Extremadura.

The workaholic central midfielder was instrumental as Extremadura secured qualification in the final play off final with a convincing 1-0 aggregate win over FC Cartegena over the weekend.

Lomotey who is on a season long loan from Dreams FC is scheduled to be handed a permanent contract after his fantastic exploits for the Azulgranas.

The former Ghana under 20 and Black Stars B midfielder midfielder played ten games for the Extremadura main team as they grabbed their promotion ticket after starting from their B side.
