Obuasi Ashanti Gold defender Richard Osei-Agyemang has stated that the ban on football in the country is not helping some of the players.
The former Asante Kotoko player also called on the government to expedite action so that football will return soon in the country.
“The break in the league is not good at all, because you have to start all over again when the league resume. You can’t be training without playing football matches. Is very worrying for some of us.” He told Kessben Sports
“In Ghana, most of the players are not doing any work apart from football. So, when football is not going on some of us struggle to get something to feed our families. If care is not taken, we might end up doing some vices which are not good.”
“I’m calling on the government to speed up things so that we start playing soon,” he added.
The Ghana Premier League and all related football activities have been put on hold after the Anas video which exposed corruption in the game.
