GHALCA boss Cudjoe Fianoo is under serious pressure to quit his position as the head of the Association following his appointment by the Government to be part of the five-man IMC to run football in the country.
Fianoo together with four people have been tasked to lead Ghana football on interim basis as a house clearing exercise is done following an expose by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas on corruption in Ghanaian football.
The various clubs which constitutes GHALCA feel peeved as they believe the astute football administrator has betrayed them by trying to accept the government appointment.
The clubs have called on Fianoo to resign as the boss of GHALCA as he cannot serve their interest and that of the government.
GHALCA will hold an Emergency meeting on Monday in which Fianoo’s appointment will be discussed.
