The Criminal Investigative Department of the Ghana Police Service have started investigations at the Ghana football Association premises.
The Deputy Superintendent of Police (Public Affairs) Shiella Kessie Abayie Buckman confirmed that investigations at the premises have already started and they are currently looking through the various Document of the FA.
“The GFA Premises is now a crime scene because it is associated with crime such that there’s a physical evidence that’s pertinent to the criminal investigations that’s why we have declared, secured and sealed off the GFA Premises from the public” Buckman told Oyerpa fm in Kumasi,
“Only people permitted by the Police are supposed to come there. We are protecting the premises from contamination because we have started investigations into all documents at the GFA Offices.”
The DSP also confirmed that members of the F A will be invited to answer some questions during the investigation.
“We are investigating corruption so everyone who has anything to do with the video will be invited. Anyone who has any information can also contact us.”
“The officials of the FA will be invited to help us investigate some documents including referees and even journalist” He emphasized.
