Former Black Stars striker, Anthony Wally Yeboah is calling on the people in charge of electing the GFA President to look for someone who is a management expert and ready to serve the interest of the people.
The Eintracht Frankfurt legend pointed out it is not appropriate to cut out a timeline for old footballers to take over the running of football in the country though he believes anyone who is selfless is suitable for the position.
“I cannot sit anywhere to say it is time for us to lead Ghana football just because we are former footballers. Football is about management and be ready to serve for the people’s interest.” Yeboah told Angel FM
“Those at authority should be smart to get the right people who can lead Ghana football to the promise land once again,”
The former Leeds United player further indicated that the highest position of football management in the country is not determined by knee jerk.
“It is not possible to have it successful when you spontaneously pick it up.” He added.
