The Central Region FA chairman, M.N.S Doe has revealed that government cannot dismiss the GFA as it is an autonomous body.
The veteran football administrator hinted that the President does not have any power to disband the GFA following the expose by investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
“If the president wants to dissolve GFA then he should go and dissolve Ghana Bar Association and CEPS first because they took goat first. No one can dissolve the FA.” Doe told Ahomka FM
“Corruption is everywhere, those who sleep with people before grading them on the University Campuses are even there. Why are they putting politics into it?”
“They should deal with the individuals not the FA. It was a temptation and everybody can fall into it even me. If they could not dissolve Police service, Ghana Bar Association and CEPS, why dissolving GFA where government does not give us any money”
Doe pointed out that former President of the Ghana Football Association got into problems by himsel”.
“I should not be included in those to be out of office of the GFA because Kwesi Nyantakyi has personally gone into his own problem so he should go.”
