Hearts of Oak captain Inusah Musah has finally opened up on his contract expiration and other related issues.
The towering defender maintains that he wants an increment of salary or else he is not going to renew his contract with the club.
“I approached them personally to inform them of my soon-to- expire contract. I’ve been to the secretariat on five occasions but it is evident that they don’t need my services with the figures they are quoting.” Musah told Kumasi FM
“I think they just want to sack me. As captain of the team, I don’t deserve such figures from them. I’ve marketed myself enough and I deserve better than the offer they are giving me. Reserved players are taking better than what they are offering me”
Musah added: “This is my future and the figures quoted by them (GHC15,000 a year) isn’t enough”
When quizzed if he is in line for a move to Kotoko, Musah indicated that he will hold talks with his manager concerning his next step.
“I will hold talks with my manager to determine my next destination on that”
The talented defender has not played for the Phobians since the 1-0 win over Kotoko in Kumasi.
