Ghanaian central defender Kasim Nuhu is on the wanted list of English Premier League side Newcastle United.

Footballmadeinghana.com understands that Nuhu’s BSC Young Boys team mate Kevin Mbabu who played at Newcastle alerted the Toons of the quality of the Ghanaian and Rafael Benitez who is in need of a central defender is ready to swoop for him.

Nuhu was efficient at the back playing 32 games, scoring two goals and providing two assists for Young Boys who won the Swiss League for the first time in 32 years.

The Swiss club have already putting a £7.5m transfer fee on Nuhu with Eintracht Frankfurt, Borussia Monchengladbach, Shaktar Donetsk and Spartak Moscow also interested in him.
