Huddersfield Town’s German-born Ghanaian attacker Collin Quaner has praised his club for their fantastic output at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday which saw them getting a point to stay in the EPL.
The Terriers scored first through a scrappy Laurent Depoitre strike in the 50th minute before Chelsea unleashed their fury on them with dominant attacking play but could only manage a lucky goal through Marcos Alonso in the 62nd minute as a clearance hit him unaware and went into the net.
The EPL newcomers endured tensed moments as they had to adopt a purely defensive play with all their eleven players in their own half as the Blues piled incessant pressure on them.
Quaner who was an unused substitute in the game took to his official twitter handle to laud his teammates and the fans for that remarkable feat.
“The lads left their hearts out there tonight! We believed in each other from the first day and that’s what it’s about! Im proud to be part of this team and the history of this club! Thanks to every single fan out theirr for the support throughout the season! Life has no limits…” Quaner twitted.
Quaner who is being courted by Ghana Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has made 26 league appearances this season providing four assists.
