The Chief Executive Officer of Wa All Stars, Oduro Nyarko says it is very frustrating when your side’s performance is nothing to write home about after all efforts are channeled to make sure the team excels.
Wa All Stars have amassed only seven points after twelve rounds of matches in the local league and Oduro Nyarko believes the mass exodus of players from the club before the start of the season has accounted for their poor start.
“As an administrator, if you do everything to make sure your team gets better and the results doesn’t come, it becomes frustrating” Oduro told Oyerepa FM.
“The basic thing is that, the strength of our team has gone down because as many as eight or nine core players of the team have left.”
The 2015/16 Ghana Premier League champions brought in nine new players to replace those left and the administrative boss of the club says it will take time for them to gel with the team.
“If as a team you have eight to nine players leaving and you bring in new ones, it will be difficult for them to blend. That’s the basic problem we are having.”
“All is not lost; we are working round the clock to make sure we get things working again,” he added.
