Karela United right back Isaac Kwain has hit hard at the Liberty professional fans following what he describes as unprofessional behavior during his club’s 1-0 defeat on Sunday.
Kwain indicated that the supporters of the Dansoman-based club resorted to delay tactics by failing to release the balls when it goes out for either throw, corner or goal kick.
“A team like Liberty should play football and stop that old tactics. They took all the balls away and made their supporters threatened the referee Before they were able to score.” Kwain told the Press after the game
“It looked like a joke to me. We use our strength to play the ball, but they made their supporters took the balls from the pitch and left only one which was very bad. These are all are part of the reasons why people are saying the local players and the league are not good enough ”
The former Ebusua Dwarfs defender also disclosed that he is confident his side will finish in the top four despite their recent poor away form.
“We don’t fear anyone, if you look at how we are playing you know we don’t fear anyone. We have set our target to finished in the top four and I’m confident we will make it.”
