Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson Nwakolo says the victory over Kumasi Asante Kotoko should inject a new life into his side ahead of their subsequent games.
Nelson who also doubles as an Executive Committee Member of the GFA believes that the victory over Kotoko was just a single game and his charges should work hard and build upon it.
“This is just the first round. We have the second round at hand. Beating Asante Kotoko SC especially in Kumasi must be a turning point for us. This victory should re-energized us for the task ahead,” Frank Nelson told FootballMadeInGhana.com.
“It means a turning point for us because if our players can beat Kotoko, they should be ready to face any side in the country.”
Accra Hearts of Oak played as underdogs on Sunday but were able to turn the tables around and record a win through a Patrick Razak solitary strike.
