Ghana youngster Richard Appiah made his debut for Ethiopian giants Saint George on Monday evening in their 3-0 defeat to Arba Minch City FC.
Appiah who joined the former Ethiopian champions after the first round of the ongoing season replaced Abubakar Sani in the 46th minute and had a great game despite his club’s defeat.
The former Ghana National Under 20 player is hopeful that he can build on his debut as he seeks to propel his side to the league title.
“It was a good game for me though we lost. I was expecting a win on my debut but it did not happen. The points build up is close and we will do our best to win the title” Appiah told footballmadeinghana.com
The 21-year-old striker has previously played for Ghanaian side Cheetah FC as well as Laos-based Champasak United.
