Ghana international Bernard Yao Kumordzi’s season might have ended after sustaining an injury in his side’s 3-0 defeat to Zulte-Waregem in the Belgian Pro League  Europa Play off game on Friday Night.

The former Ghana Black Meteors enforcer was deployed at centre back but lasted just 17 minutes and was replaced by Erik Palmer-Brown after sustaining what looks like a knee injury.

Kumordzi will take a scan on Monday to ascertain the level of the injury but it is almost certain that his season is over with just three weeks to go.

Kortrijk are second on the play off leg and are four points behind Zulte Waregem.
