Dreams FC midfielder Abdul Mugeez Zakaria is glad having made his Ghana Premier League debut over the weekend.
Mugeez was introduced in the 68th minute for Emmanuel Hayford as Dreams FC were held to a goalless draw by Karela FC at the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu.
The youngster played only one match last season for the zone three winners due to a serious knee injury and he is excited to be back in the team.
“It was a dream come true to have such opportunity. I am very happy with my first Ghana Premier League appearance and I am hopeful I can build on it,” Mugeez told footballmadeinghana.com
“Last season I could only play in the final day of the Division One Zone Three when we hosted Mighty Jets due to injury. I am really elated to be back after fully,”
“My ambition this season is to finish in the top four with Dreams FC and also to improve more,” he added.
The teenager who had a great game against Karela is expected to have some minutes on Wednesday when Dreams FC play as guest to Bechem United.
