The coach of Wamanafo-based Ghana National Division One side Nea Salamina, Ransford Kudjo has resigned as head coach of the club.
The budding trainer was arguably the best coach in the national division one zone one league last season as he propelled Nea Salamina to win the zone only to be denied qualification to the premiership after Eleven Wonders won their court case against Techiman City to overtake his side on points.
Kudjo served an official notice to the club on Thursday night after their win over Paga Crocodiles and also took to his Facebook page to announce it.
“I thank the almighty God for our victory yesterday but the sad news is from today I HAVE RESIGNED as the head coach of the Club. I know it will cost a big pain for many of you but please forgive me is a personal decision. I think my future is more important than my present. Thank you very much for your understanding.” Kudjo posted.
The young coach also helped Salamina to the quarter finals of the MTN FA Cup last season only to lose to Kotoko through a dubious penalty with Referee Limann being banned afterwards.
