Wolverhampton FC manager Nuno Espirito says Ghana international Philemon Ofosu-Ayeh is no where near fitness.
The 26-year-old lateral defender who was signed on free transfer last summer has not featured for the championship leaders as he is still battling to be fit.
Espirito indicated that the defender is yet to recover and he is at the not fully integrated into the team.
“He’s not working with us yet,” Nuno told Express
“He’s still getting better and solving all the problems that he has – he’s not 100 per cent with the group.
He added “Of course (he is some way off). We cannot forget that Phil since the beginning of the season has been injured so it will take time to integrate the dynamic of training sessions.”
Wolves could be in the market to sign another right back to fill Ofosu-Ayeh’s position or bring back either Dominic Iorfa or Jordan Graham from Ipswich or Fulham from their loan deals.
