The Ghalca organised G-8 tournament continues on Wednesday with potentially exciting fixtures at the two designated venues – Kumasi and Cape Coast, where Medeama will be playing Hearts of Oak.
Medeama go into the game boasting of the best attack in the competition so far, after finding the back of the net six times in their opening game against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday.
The pair of Inusah Musah and Richard Akrofi looks a difficult one to break at Hearts’ rear.
And Medeama’s free scoring attack surely will bring the best of Heart of Oak’s defence.
Kwame Boateng and Tetteh Zuttah both scored a brace on Sunday. They could score again in Wednesday’s game.
Medeama Head Coach, Samuel Boadu has already promised a free flow of goals as he has been warning Hearts of Oak to come well-prepared.
“We beat Ebusua Dwarfs 6-5; we scored six goals and against Hearts of Oka, it will be no different” he boasted at their pre-match press conference.
But Medeama have challenges at the back: the departure of Paul Aidoo haunted them against Dwarfs when they conceded five goals. That should brighten hopes of Cosmos Dauda, Patrick Razak and Isaac Mensah scoring or capitalising on Medeama’s flaws at the back.
The encounter promises nothing but full of great thrills for it’s the best defence side against the best attack.
