Italian Serie Aside Fiorentina are keen on signing Ghana international Abdul Rahman Baba from Chelsea.

The talented lateral defender is on his way to recovery after a one-year lay off and has started kicking.

Baba has been linked with a loan move back to Schalke where he is expected to get back on track but a new suitor has emerged in the shape of Fiorentina who are in need of a left-back.

La Nazione have revealed that Fiorentina boss Stefano Pioli has already contacted Antonio Conte and is ready to swoop for Baba on loan if he is not in his immediate plans.
